Cleopatra Black Diamond O’Keefe-Donoho

Cleopatra Black Diamond O’Keefe-Donoho passed from our planet between 6:00 and 6:30 PM, March 27th, 2008. Her final hours were spent wandering our backyard on a beautiful spring day on a mission of doggy exploration of our wonderful world.

We think we were the found family and not that she was the found puppy. Her joy in play was infectious. She was a willful puppy. And we loved her.

Even with her heart condition, she and her sister, Spotz, treed a squirrel just last week. Much fun was had by all, even, we believe, by the squirrel.

She is survived by her sister Spotz, her mistress Lauren O’Keefe and her grandparents, Jackie O’Keefe and Andrew Donoho.

She will be interred on her favorite blanket underneath her favorite place to sun herself next to a Mexican Buckeye. A family headstone will be placed on her grave upon Lauren’s return from abroad.
