This project is a class assignment of the Information Design class
(LIS 385T.16, Fall
97) for the Graduate School of Library and Information Science
at the University of Texas at Austin.
The project's aim was to create a well-organized web site of 20 pages on the topic 'Napoleon's March to Russia 1812'. This web site will give information on the main events of the invasion and the ensuing retreat as well as characterizations on some of the important personalities involved. A logical place to start will be to have a look with at a map of the invasion, a modified version of the classic Minard's map that C. J. Minard created back in 1869 to illustrate an ambitious campaign that turned out to be a disaster and at the same time a miraculous survival of the few that made it from France to Moscow and back.
