You may search CretCat by Image ID, Project Name, Commission Number, Building Name, Personal/Group Name, Drawing Date, Representation, Projection, Function, Technique and/or Media.To discover what is in the CretCat image database you can browse the Name Index, an alphabetical list of names used in the CretCat Catalog that provide the exact form of the data used in CretCat. Terms in the Name Index include: building names, project names and personal or group names.
If you don't use a full term from the Name Index, you can use the truncation or wildcard symbol, which is %. A wildcard search should contain at least 4 letters. For example, in the Personal/Group Name field, type "Le Corbu%".
When entering data in the Personal/Group Names field put the last name first, with a comma between the last and first names, or use the last name with a wildcard.
You can limit the extent of your search by selecting from any of the scrollable lists provided on the search form such as Representation, Function, Media, etc. The default is "any", which will search all the possible choices in each field.
