One of the many cool voices of the 1950ís Lucy Reed gives a crisp and clear delivery. Her sound attempts to fit with the Chris Connor, Anita OíDay sound and succeeds at times. On her own merits is how her voice is best judged, a straightforward singer, with a cool sound she gives her ballads a detached feel and her swing songs a good bounce.
