Shore's public debut came at the age of four in Nashville. She sang at WSM there before moving in 1937 to New York, where she did radio shows with Eddie Cantor. Later she starred in Hollywood musicals and her own TV talk show. During the '50s Shore was one of the top singers in the country. ~ Bil Carpenter
