A blues tinged voice and great timing were part of what Mary Ann McCall brought to the bandstand. Her tenure with big bands included those of Charlie Barnett and Woody Herman. She does not seem to have her own recordings available but is included on several compilations of Big Band singers and collections of "lady singers".
