Bad Sites: Take a Shot

I have been unable to understand the use of random URL generators since the first time I heard about them. Take a shot site is one of these random URL generators. It is a one page site that has a clickable image and upon clicking this image the user is sent to a random site which is determined by a simple software that randomly chooses an entry from a database of URLs.

A concept as plain as this needs to be strengthened by offering some sort of power options where the user can choose a narrower set of potential URLs. A better graphical user interface may make this site look a bit more useful, or at least more enjoyable than it is now.

[ Text-only Main Page || Graphical Main Page ]
"Good" Sites: [ Netscape || TimeOut || FirstView || Tao of HTML || Pratt Institute ]
"Bad" Sites: [ Time Out Istanbul || Perot Powell '96 || Mirsky's || Take a Shot! || Squirrels ]
What's a "Good" Site and What's "Bad" Site anyway?
