Good Sites: FirstView

For people interested in viewing the latest photographs from the runways, there is no better and more comprehensive site than FirstView. The site has quite a collection of pictures from the fashion shows from around the world. The latest seasonšs collections are only available to subscribed users, but older seasons are free.

FirstView is organized in a graphically pleasing and relatively easy to browse layout. The key pages are the listings of Designers. The users can choose any designer and collection and view approximately 40 minimum to 150 maximum original photographs.

In conventional printmedia, the contents of Firstview would be sold for $50 per seasonšs catalog. FirstView charges $500 dollars for a whole year, not an inexpensive price but the older collections are free. This clearly identifies the clients Firstview is seeking: fashion specialists, fashion magazines and other experts in the field who need comprehensive coverage of fashion shows. A small crowd indeed, but the older collections are there for all of us to enjoy. The site has relatively short loading delays, and usually is quite good in terms of speed if we take into consideration that they carry quite bandwidth demanding type of data.
