ABC News

ABC starts its presentation of information out with a large clickable map of menu options. The map provides four menu options to users. From the map, the user can link to a section called News, which is where all the news information is located. Unlike the other two networks, the user has to go into the news section to get sports information. The news section then presents a number of graphics that furnish news on different topics. The graphics are arranged without any meaningful order to the user, but ABC makes it easy to choose the correct information by clearly identifying each option. This is illustrated by the This Week With David Brinkley Show's graphic of the entire cast of the program.

The ABC News Page concentrates most of its news information delivery in the form of real audio broadcasts. Indeed, the name of their news page is called RadioNet. They provide a real audio player download as soon as the user reaches the page, which is helpful for those who do not yet have that technology. The features on the page also include text and graphics, but almost all of them contain a real audio broadcast. ABC provides a number of information resources that enhance their television programming. Special features that they offer include:

The preceding titles are just a sample taken from the many categories that a user can choose in exploring ABC news. The titles are represented by icons that a user can click to go to the news topic of their choice. Almost any type of national or international news information, in text, audio, and graphic format is available at the click of a button. For example, a map of the United States is clickable to news for major cities, providing the user with local news throughout the nation in the form of audio broadcast.
