particular, development which takes advantage of the rapidly-changing capabilities and availability of the
Internet and Internet-related technologies.
Career Experience:
- 1/96 - Present: Interval Systems, Inc., Austin, TX
- Contract development of Windows (Win32s, Windows 95, Windows NT) interface
for Interval Systems' cross-platform, electronic commerce application.
- 6/94 - 12/95: Quadralay Corporation, Austin, TX
- Responsible for all Windows (Win32s, Windows NT, Windows 95)-specific
development of the company's cross-platform (Macintosh, UNIX, Windows) product line, including:
- GUI design
- Inter-application communications
- Installation packages
- Coding primarily in C and C++, using commercial and company-proprietary class
libraries, including MFC, Rogue Wave, zApp, and Metrowerks' PowerPlant.
- 7/93 - 5/94: FASTMAN, Inc., Austin, TX
- Adaptation and implementation of company's proprietary, wavelet-based
compression and processing techniques.
- C, C++, and 80x86 assembler implementation of compression package in Windows-
based demo app built using Borland's OWL
- Numerical simulations of wavelet-based signal detection and parameter estimation techniques
in government-funded studies.
- 1980 - 1981, 1982-1985: E-Systems, Garland, TX
- Developed and simulated signal analysis
algorithms for detection and parameter estimation in high-speed, real-time data acquisition systems.
- 1981 - 1982: ARCO Exploration Co., Plano, TX
- Design and analysis of field data quality assessment tools and
techniques for seismic reflection profiling equipment.
- 1975 - 1976: Tracking and Communications Development Division, NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston,
TX
- Participated in specification and evaluation of Space Shuttle communications
system. Designed microprocessor-based signal acquisition unit for EVA suit prototype.
